At Overland Ireland small group tours, where we stay is just as important as where we go! Transparency is important as well – we have therefore listed all of our accommodation providers for our small group tours at the bottom of this page.
Our overnight accommodations are part of the overall “Tour Ireland” experience and we have hand-picked local guest houses and locally owned boutique hotels giving you a richer Irish vacation. Customer service, comfort and cleanliness are all guaranteed by our accommodation partners but what they offer is so much more. We look for character, charm, authenticity and individual personality from hosts that deliver the famous “Irish Welcome”.
Our accommodation options are centrally located so that guests are within a stone’s throw of the villages and towns we stop at along their tour of Ireland. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy the hustle and bustle that our villages have to offer during the evening times without having to worry how to get back.
Ireland is a country that has a blessing for most occasions and sleep is no different.
Sleep sweet within this room, whoe’er thou art. And let not dreams of yesterday disturb they heart.
We know how important it is to unwind and relax after a busy day filled with adventure, culture and travel! Our accommodations are the place to kick back and recharge. Sleep is strongly recommended on our tours, no matter how strong the lure of the craic in a pub may be.
As ever, as part of our small group tours options, we can also arrange custom accommodations should you have a preference in mind. From castle stays to glamping (boutique style camping), there are many interesting places for you to lay your head at night. If you are interested in such options, please get in contact and we can start looking on your behalf.
Each morning you will be treated to a breakfast fit for a King. A full Irish breakfast will set you up for the adventures that await! Each accommodation partner will have their own unique breakfast menu which include hot and cold menu items, from traditional Irish favourites to continental style.
If you have specific dietary requests or requests or preferences, please let us know in advance so that we can arrange a tailored menu. But some advice if you really want to live it ‘local’ style, make sure to have a cup of Irish tea every morning. You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy tea and that’s kind of the same thing.
